About us About us Upcoming events Donate Tickets Meet our staff Home Calendar of Events The Companion Animal Alliance (CAA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to support the greater St. Louis area animal shelter/rescue organizations. This is accomplished by holding various charity fundraising events throughout the year, as well as corporate sponsorships.  Animal organizations will be evaluated on such things as their fiscal responsibility, adoption rates, spay/neuter rates, etc and will be eligible to receive grants through the CAA . Dogs and Duds will be the CAA's PREMIER event on Sunday July 20, 2008 from 6:30-11:00 pm. This evening brings St. Louis celebrities like Albert Pujols, Barret Jackman, Mayor Francis Slay, Chief Joe Mokwa, and many more together on the cat walk with their family dog.  If the celebrity does not have a family dog they will be provided one for the evening from one of the local animal shelters.  These dogs will be available for adoption.  Along with great food and drink, there will be fabulous items up for silent and live auction.  You are sure to find something that you just can't live without! Tony La Russa, of the St Louis Cardinals and founder of Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF), will be the host for the evening. The comic genious Elayne Boozler will be the emcee for the evening.  You will be musically entertained by Capitol Records recording artist, Emily West.  Celebrity auctioneer, Guy Phillips, will convince you to open your check books to support this great cause.
